Key Responsibilities
This position involves working with the research and development teams as a project leader to drive the product vision, ideation, concept validation, prototyping and productization of the next generation of index serving platform. You will need to understand the dynamics of the system and derive the detail metrics and goals of each component in the system. You need to constantly monitor the progress of the project and make sure it is on the right course and need to make trade-off decisions along with the your project partners if necessary. The project will involve co-working with the remote partner teams with working hour difference. You will need to organize the regular meetings among relevant team members and create reports so that the relevant teams are on sync.

Qualifications:
• Strong technical knowledge on computer system and search engine architecture
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technology and go deep in focus areas to find high impact opportunities
• Great attention to detail and a love for data, impact, quality and organizational effectiveness
• Highly innovative and creative with solid critical thinking
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with a large number of partners and customers and translate product vision to development requirements and roadmap
• Highly organized and good at leading meetings
• Development background in server hardware/software is a plus
• 6 years’experience in delivering large scale software solutions
• 5+ years PM experience in the software product cycle
• 3+ years industry experience in Search Technology
• A Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Fluent English

Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with developers to analyze architecture, design & source code and to detect potential risks
• Create test plans, strategies & test cases for the features he/she owns
• Develops compelling and grounded customer cases for fixing critical bugs
• Designs and develops/uses test automation tools independently & effectively
• Investigate and repro bugs for fast turnaround time
• Analyzes patterns of defects and propose solution for product and engineering process

• Improve the speech synthesis quality in terms of naturalness, expressiveness
• Provides good guidance on core speech synthesis algorithm investigation

Requirements
• MSC or PhD in CS/EE (with focus in one or more of Speech Applications) or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years experiences working in speech domain
• Full understanding of the tradeoffs for decisions made in speech synthesis
